About our Men's Ministry

The men of St. George’s meet quarterly on a Saturday for breakfast, fellowship and to plan future activities. We recently formed a small group that meets for prayer, discipleship and fellowship. We also have started an e-mail group that allows those of us with e-mail access to stay in touch over the course of the week.

In the spring we have our annual white water rafting trip. The water is cold, but it is also fast and a fun time is had by all. In the late summer we also have a family rafting trip as well.

Once a year the men get together for a retreat. It is an excellent time for us to connect in a way that men need to, but often neglect. We also get together for various activities including parish clean-up days or to help someone who is need with yardwork or handy-man jobs.

The goal of St. Georges men's ministry is to help men to be better men, husbands, fathers and most importantly Christians.
